Soya Granules Curry


Soya is a very delicious and protein rich food.This simple curry goes well with Rice and Roti.

Ingredients:

Soya Granules – 2 cups
Onion pieces – 1 cup

Tomato – 1 medium size
Green Chilli – 4
Cashew

Ginger garlic – 1/2 table spoon
Garam masala Powder – 1/2 table spoon

Cilantro (Coriander Leaves) – 5 stems

Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Chana dal
Urad dal

Red Chilli pwd – as per your taste
Turmeric – as per your taste
Salt – as per your taste

Note: You can always vary the quantity and proportion of ingredients as per your taste. You even can include additional items if you feel they enhance the taste of the dish.

Preparation:

Cut onion, tomato, green chilli and cilantro into very little pieces. Soak soya granules in hot water for 30 minutes. Squeeze entire water from soya granules before adding them to the cooking pan.

Stove top:

Take a wide pan. Pour 2 tea spoons of oil and heat it.
Add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, chana dal and urad dal. Saute them.
After that add onions and cut green chilli and stir them until they are light brown.
Then add ginger garlic paste and turmeric to this and let it fry for 2 minutes.
To this add soaked soya granules and cover the pan with lid.
After 10 minutes add cut tomatoes, salt and red chilli powder then again cover with lid.
After 10 minutes sprinkle cut cilantro and garam masala powder and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
Switch off the stove and serve hot.
